Approvals and permissions
Why Claude asks "Allow once", and how to make questions quicker.
Two different approvals
- Claude's permission to use a tool. The first time Claude wants to use a Pridly tool it asks: Allow once or Always allow. That is Claude protecting you; it is normal.
- Pridly's own approval of a change. Whatever you chose above, a change in your shop only happens after Pridly has shown the preview and you said yes.
Making it quicker
For tools that only read (sales, stock, orders, customers) you can choose Always allow. Keep Allow once for tools that change things, so Claude asks every time. In Claude: Customize → Connectors → Pridly → tool permissions.
What Pridly can and cannot do
- It cannot refund, take payments or send messages to your customers.
- It cannot see your Webservice key: that is never returned to Claude.
- It changes nothing without a preview, a "yes" and a change number you can undo.
