How changes stay safe

Pridly never changes your shop without showing you first, and every change can be undone.

Preview, approve, undo

  1. Preview. You ask for a change, for example “raise all Château Margaux wines by 6%”. Pridly shows the exact list: product, old price, new price. Nothing has changed yet.
  2. Approve. You say yes. Pridly first checks that nobody edited those products in the meantime. If someone did, nothing is applied and you are asked to preview again.
  3. Undo. Every applied change gets a number. Say “undo change 12” and Pridly shows what it will restore, then waits for your yes.

Example: Lucas previews a 20% sale on five slow wines until Sunday 23:59. The preview lists the five wines with their new prices. He says yes. On Monday the sale has ended by itself. If he changes his mind, “undo change 14” removes it at once.

Languages are never overwritten

When Pridly writes a French description, the English and Spanish ones stay exactly as they were. Each language is read and saved separately, and the preview shows the change language by language.

View-only keys

If you give Pridly a view-only key, it can read but not change. A request to change something explains in plain words how to enable editing. Nothing is changed.

Some things Pridly deliberately does not do

  • It does not refund orders or take payments. Use PrestaShop's own refund buttons.
  • It does not send messages to your customers. Changing an order's status can make PrestaShop send its usual status e-mail (for example “Your order has been shipped”). Pridly warns you in the preview.
  • It does not change more than 500 items in one change, and it will not change everything at once without a filter.

What Pridly keeps

Your shop's key (encrypted), your sign-in email, and a log of the changes you approved (old and new values). Your orders, products and customers are read live and never stored. See the privacy policy.
