What is Pridly?
Pridly connects Claude to your PrestaShop shop. You ask questions in plain words and get answers from your live shop. You can also make changes, after seeing a preview.
Which PrestaShop versions work?
PrestaShop 1.7, 8 and 9, through the built-in Webservice. We have tested versions 1.7.8, 8.2 and 9.2. If something doesn't work on your version or because of a module you use, tell us and we will fix it. Versions older than 1.7 are not supported.
Do I need to install a module?
No. You create a key in your back office and paste it into Pridly. Your shop needs to use https and have the Webservice switched on.
How is this different from PrestaShop's own MCP module?
PrestaShop's official module is installed inside your shop and offers tools for products, orders and customers. Pridly needs no installation, adds sales analytics (comparisons, best sellers, forecasts, customer groups), safe bulk changes with preview and undo, time-limited discounts, translation tools and a view-only mode, and can manage several shops for agencies. If the official module already does what you need, you may not need Pridly.
Which AI apps work with it?
Claude today. ChatGPT is in preparation. You use Pridly inside the AI app you already have.
Can Pridly change things without asking me?
No. Every change shows a preview first and needs your clear yes. Scheduled changes run only at the time you chose, and only if nothing changed in between.
My shop is in several languages. Is that handled?
Yes. Pridly reads and writes each language separately and never overwrites the others. You can ask which products have no Spanish description and have the texts written, with a preview, in one go.
Are prices shown with or without VAT?
Without VAT (HT), as PrestaShop stores them. Pridly says so when it matters.
Does Pridly store my orders or customers?
No. It reads them live when you ask and keeps a copy in memory for five minutes so follow-up questions are fast. Lists show shortened customer names, and full details appear only when you ask about one order.
Can I give it read-only access?
Yes, and it is the safest way to start. Tick only the View boxes when you create the key. See the guide.
Can it refund an order or take payments?
No, on purpose. Use PrestaShop's own refund tools.
How do I stop?
Delete the key in your back office, or delete your Pridly account. Both take effect immediately.
What does it cost?
Free for one shop with all the read-only questions. Paid plans start at €19 a month. See pricing.
