Languages and translations
PrestaShop stores product text once per language. Pridly reads and writes each language separately.
What this means
- A product can have a French, an English and a Spanish name and description. Pridly shows them side by side in previews.
- When Pridly writes the Spanish text, the French and English text stay exactly as they were.
- You can ask in any language. Pridly answers in the language you write in.
Find what is missing
Ask: "Which products have no Spanish description?" Pridly lists them and shows the French and English text so a translation can be written from it. You can also check names, short descriptions and SEO titles and descriptions.
Fill the gaps
Ask: "Write them from the French ones and show me a preview." You see each text before saving. Say yes to save, or "undo change N" to remove it again. See the recipe and SEO texts.
Limits
- The language must already exist in your shop (Pridly cannot add a language).
- Pridly writes the text; it does not check it with a native speaker. Read translations before you apply them, especially for legal or technical wording.
- Facts such as years, awards or ingredients are only used if they are in your own text.
